What is Ergon Chat?
Ergon Chat is an AI-powered career preparation platform. It helps you create customized resumes, track job applications, practice interviews with AI feedback, and identify skill gaps between your profile and target jobs.
Does Ergon Chat guarantee I'll get a job?
No. Ergon Chat provides tools to help you prepare for your job search, but we cannot and do not guarantee employment, interviews, or any specific outcomes. Success depends on many factors including market conditions, your qualifications, and how you use the tools.
Who is Ergon Chat for?
Ergon Chat is designed for professionals actively searching for jobs or preparing for career transitions. It's useful for anyone who wants to improve their resume, practice interviews, or organize their job search.
Who is Ergon Chat NOT for?
Ergon Chat is not a replacement for human recruiters, career coaches, or staffing agencies. If you need personalized 1:1 coaching or recruiting services, you should seek a professional career counselor.

Interview Simulator

How does the interview simulator work?
The simulator uses AI to generate realistic interview questions based on the job description and your resume. You can respond via text or voice, and receive detailed feedback on your answers, including suggested improvements.
Are these real interview questions?
The questions are AI-generated based on common interview patterns and the specific role you're preparing for. They are not actual questions from specific companies, but are designed to be realistic and relevant.
Can I repeat interviews?
Yes, you can practice as many times as you want within your plan's monthly hour limit. Each session generates fresh questions so you can improve over time.
How are interview hours counted?
Hours are counted based on active simulation time. The timer runs while you're in an active interview session. Paused or ended sessions don't consume additional time. Hours reset at the start of each billing month.
Can the AI feedback be wrong?
Yes. AI-generated feedback is helpful but not perfect. It may miss nuances, cultural context, or industry-specific expectations. Use it as one input among many, and always apply your own judgment.

Gap Analyzer

What is the Gap Analyzer?
The Gap Analyzer compares your resume and experience against job requirements to identify skills, qualifications, or experience you may be missing. It helps you understand what to focus on when preparing applications.
How does it identify gaps?
The AI analyzes keywords, required skills, years of experience, and qualifications from job descriptions, then compares them to your resume content. It highlights areas where you may not fully match the requirements.
Does it use my real data?
Yes, the Gap Analyzer uses the resume content and job descriptions you provide. Your data is processed to generate insights but is not shared externally (see our Privacy Policy for details).
Can the gap analysis be inaccurate?
Yes. AI analysis has limitations. It might miss transferable skills, misinterpret experience, or not understand the full context of your background. Use it as a guide, not a definitive assessment.

Plans & Payments

What plans are available?
We offer two plans: Starter ($36/quarter) and Pro ($59/quarter). Each includes different limits on resume generation, interview hours, and access to advanced features. Check the pricing page for full details.
Can I change my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
What happens if I cancel?
When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing. You keep access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to an unsubscribed state.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. New subscribers can request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment, provided they haven't made significant use of the platform. See our Refund Policy for complete details.
Why was I charged?

Privacy & Data

Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication via OAuth, and trusted infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel). See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. To delete your account and associated data, email us at gabrielp.ribeiro1996@gmail.com with subject "Account Deletion Request". We'll process your request within 15 business days.
Do you sell my data?
No. We never sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (database, payments, AI), and they are contractually bound to protect your data.
Do AI providers train on my data?
According to our agreements with AI providers, your content processed for responses should not be used to train their models. However, AI provider practices may change; check their current policies for the most accurate information.
